Tania Brown is the Chief Operating Officer at the SMART Infrastructure Facility with responsibility for the day to day operations, stakeholder relations and investment attraction for this $62 million facility.
Prior to joining the University of Wollongong in 2009, Tania spent 13 years working for State and Federal Governments. Her role as a Senior Ministerial Policy Advisor saw her dealing with the development, implementation and communication of government policies in a range of areas.
In 2011 Tania was invited to serve on the Regional Development Australia (lllawarra) High Speed Rail Working Party.
Tania was appointed Chair of Destination Wollongong in 2015, having served as a Board Member since 2013. In 2016 Tania joined the Property Council of Australia’s, Illawarra Chapter Committee.
