Paul Jeffrey is Professor of Water Management and Director of the Water Theme at Cranfield University. He is also Director of the STREAM Industrial Doctorate Centre and is a Guest Professor at KWR Water Cycle Research in the Netherlands. A Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Paul has degrees in Science & Society, Energy & Environment, and Technology Policy. His research activities cross both problem and disciplinary boundaries but are focused on water management as a context. He has made significant contributions to the critical evaluation of contemporary resource management theories and has also undertaken research in areas such as water recycling and public perception of water services. More recently Paul has been involved in leading edge research on asset management and infrastructure, exploring the tensions between infrastructure degradation and service quality, the relationship between network topography and service resilience, and new analytical approaches to scheduling maintenance and rehabilitation.
